Work have been offering free health checks including height, weight, blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose levels. At the end we were provided with heart risk scores, a 10 year risk and a 2 year risk1.
My 10 year figure was 2.6% and my initial reaction was "what can I do to reduce this?". Then I thought about it some more and the reality is that there will always be some residual risk.
Then I saw my 2 year figure: 0%.
Apparently I am guaranteed no heart issues within the next two years. I am not sure their system is robust enough to handle all inputs reliably.
